Weddin Shire Council set to save big with energy efficient lighting

As part of the Australian Governments Community Energy Efficiency Program, in which 12 councils in Central West NSW received funding, Weddin Shire Council successfully installed energy efficient LED lighting across 4 council sites in Grenfell.

The sites included the Councils Administration Building, the Community Hub Building, the Council Depot and the Weddin Shire Council Caravan Park.

This project was completed in September 2013 and the energy savings are currently being calculated. Check back soon to see how much Weddin Shire Council has saved on their energy consumption by installing energy efficient lighting.

This activity received funding from the Australian Government as part of the Community Energy Efficiency Program.
