Upper Lachlan Shire Council’s energy efficiency project

Upper Lachlan Shire Council, as part of the Australian Governments Community Energy Efficiency Program underwent a project to upgrade pumping and aeration equipment at 3 sewage treatment plants in Crookwell, Gunning and Taralga.

This project was completed in April 2013 and the energy savings are currently being calculated. Check back soon to see how much Upper Lachlan Shire Council has saved on their energy consumption.

This activity received funding from the Australian Government as part of the Community Energy Efficiency Program.
