Centroc is part of a regional program delivering $2.5m of energy efficiency measures across Central NSW.

This exciting program saves an average of 44% energy use across the 51 sites in the 12 participating councils. The projects range from lighting to pool pumps, improving the efficiency of water and sewer functions to all sorts of works on major Council and community facilities like administration buildings and PCYCs.

Each participating council has nominated the project they want to be included and every council in the program has a different project. Centroc members will share advice on what has worked well with a view to even more activity and collaboration in the region.

On the back of the recent savings of up to 33% on electricity bills secured by Centroc, the region is tackling higher electricity prices head on.

The program will be receiving funding up to $1.124m from the Australian Government as part of the Community Energy Efficiency Program.
