Online Training

The Centroc Training Service together with the Centroc HR team has a contract in place for the supply of online training and councils have been using online training as a training tool across the region since 2013.

Centroc member councils have access to a Learning Management System (LMS) with access to over 300 pre-built compliance and soft skills courses that can be edited and customised to meet council’s needs.

There are numerous benefits to councils in using Online Training, including:

  • no travel costs;
  • no costs to hire external training providers;
  • no internal training resources;
  • increased accountability through online tracking of trainee achievements;
  • reduced time spent on the identification and supply of relevant content and
  • reduced time spent on administration and facilitation.
